  11. After I've read some articles concercing the ^A-problem, I thought about some
  12. suggestion (because I don't want to miss ^A ;)

  14. What about keeping ^A as a keyboard-shurtcut, but also do the following things
  15. when it's pressed: "Ring the bell" (that means, ascII-code #7), wait a moment
  16. (half a second?) and then clear the keyboard-buffer? Of course, this wouldn't
  17. be necessary if "Select all" was selected from the menu-bar.
